EXPLORER PROGRAM

Some confusion about AO releases for future Explorers appears to remain. The following information has been provided to the AWG as of 1999 October 3 by Marcus Watkins.

Assuming there are no budget impacts to the Explorer line, the next releases of Explorer AOs are as follows:

Also, the budget cap on UNEX has been raised to $15M; there will be two selections per AO, with one flight per year. The budget cap includes launch vehicle and MO&DA costs.
