The Space Sciences Advisory Committee (SScAC) is the strategic-level advisory group to the NASA Office of Space Sciences. The current chair of the SScAC is Dr. Steven W. Squyres (Cornell University).

The SScAC has four subcommittees aligned with the OSS science themes:

• Sun-Earth Connections Advisory Subcommittee (SECAS). Chair: Dr. Andrew B. Christensen (Aerospace Corporation).
• Astronomical Search for Origins and Planetary Systems Advisory Subommittee (Origins). Chair: Dr. David Black (Lunar and Planetary Institute).
• Structure and Evolution of the Universe Subcommittee (SEUS). Chair: Dr. Bruce Margon (University of Washington).
• Solar System Exploration Subcommittee (SSES). Chair: Dr. Steven W. Squyres (Cornell University).
