3:35pm Ellyn asks Secretary Kevin why he isn't at the meeting.
3:36pm Secretary Kevin arrives at the meeting, and asks why an email wasn't sent out informing everyone of the meeting.
3:37pm Everyone enjoys a delicious platter from Roly Poly.
3:38pm President Dave asks Secretary Kevin why he isn't taking notes like he should.
3:39pm Secretary Kevin leaves to get a clock and piece of paper.
3:44pm Secretary Kevin returns, with the meeting already in progress.
3:45pm Treasurer Angela gives her treasurer's report, discussing how the club is still suckling at the cash teat of the membership dues.
3:46pm Secretary Kevin discusses plans for building a telescope, which will cost $300-500.
3:48pm Inevitably, Bill B.'s 18" spherical mirror is brought up
3:53pm A vote is taken on whether or not to build the club telescope (the measure passed).
3:56pm A decision to order the supplies for making the mirror is made.
3:57pm Review of upcoming events.
3:59pm Grad students have a difficult time figuring out when classes actually meet.
4:00pm Solar observing will be from 2:30-3:30pm, in Woodruff park, on 11/11.
4:01pm The Leonid meteor shower event will be on 11/16, starting at 10pm. `Snacky' foods will be provided, along with hot beverages.
4:05pm Night time observing will be 11/18, meeting in the 1010 lab room (528K). Time is TBA.
4:06pm The next meeting will be on 12/3, at 3:30pm in 732 1PP.
4:07pm A possible club newsletter is discussed, possibly printed once each semester.
4:09pm Earlier talk of a star party amongst the officers has been postponed, until completion of the club telescope.
4:11pm Sally Ride will be invited to GSU to give a talk, as a guest of the Astronomy Club.
4:17pm Discussion of general future plans for the club.
4:18pm More pictures of club events are needed for the webpage. Anyone with a digital or film camera is welcome to send in pictures.
4:20pm More discussion of the club newsletter.
4:21pm Secretary Kevin will hold night time observing at 6pm tonight (11/7) in 528K for his lab students, but club members are welcome to attend.
4:22pm Former Secretary Joe discusses last month's invitation for school higher-ups to attend observing.
4:25pm Ride-giving is discussed, with Secretary Kevin expressing displeasure at having to give a ride to anyone who doesn't live in Decatur. A club directory is planned, to coordinate rides and things like that, so please send your phone #, email address, street address, credit card number, measurements, and 3 letters of reference to the astroclub email address.
4:28pm The meeting concludes and is officially adjourned.

4:31pm The meeting is unofficially reconvened after Tatiana leaves.
4:32pm Discussion of van driver training, and taking a trip to PISCA radio observatory in NC.
4:35pm Discussion of Joe's unusual buttons. Joe is straight, but he isn't narrow.
4:37pm Everyone except the grad students leaves.
4:38pm Secretary Kevin stops taking notes because he is lazy.
