Meeting Minutes

Acting Secretary Ellyn was not actually at this meeting, so the minutes are more a summary. Bad, bad Acting Secretary Ellyn.

Hail new VP Jeff! Our ex-VP Abby is in Florida, Disneyworld to be exact. We Astro Clubbers are very professional.

The Astro Movie this month will be Cosmos! Yay Carl Sagan!

Treasurer Bryan reported there will be a 1.8701% reduction in our budget due to Student Activity Fee issues, and that translates to about $5-10, so no big deal. It just begs the question how they decided on that last 0.0001% part.

The Messier Marathon will be on Saturday, February 25th this month, and if it's bad weather we'll try for Saturday, March 25th. The Moon for both nights will be a waning crescent, which is helpful.

The day trip to the Coca-Cola Science Center has been cancelled for now, since there wasn't a lot of interest in it. A reconaissance mission was suggested.

This semester we'd like to finally make our Astro Club t-shirts and buttons, and we have a committee of VP Jeff and Treasurer Bryan. Ideas are always welcome!
