ULO observing The Urban Life Observatory (ULO, pronounced "oo-low") provides GSU students with the opportunity to view the nighttime sky from downtown Atlanta. The Department of Physics and Astronomy operates an observing platform on top of the the Urban Life Building. Despite the glow of downtown Atlanta, there are many objects to see from ULO!

Access to the roof is restricted to Astronomy Lab Teaching Assistants. Check the schedule to see the observing session status.

The GSU Astronomy Club also uses ULO for their monthly nighttime observing.
