Mon - 31st - Meet with Doug about research - DUH, that's Memorial Day!

Tue - 1st - Meet with Doug about research
Tue - 8th - 7:30 a.m. - Venus transit visible -- oops, it was cloudy :(
Mon - 14th - Classes START for the Summer Session - I shall be teaching lab
I'm the POP WENCH this week!!
Thu - 10th - Ginny's thesis defense
Fri? - 11th - AstroClub camping and trip to Huntsville (til Sun - 13th)???? -- didn't happen
Fri - 18th - Friend Andrew IS coming to visit :)
Tue - 22nd - Friend Andrew leaves :(
Wed - 23rd - Brother Ian's birthday!!! The big 21!
Sat - 26th - HLCO Open House - I'm the Contact Grad
Sun - 27th - 12 to 6 p.m. - Party at Dick's Lake House!!! Wheee! Graduate students and professors in bathing suits!
July
Thu - 1st - I leave for my long beginning-of-July trip - to Minnesota!
Sun - 4th - Big shin-dig at Grandma Nelson's farm - the whole clan will be there!! -- wheee! Fireworks!
Wed - 14th - Fly to Philadelphia where Friend Andrew will pick me up -- a little difficulty - flight cancellation due to extreme weather
Mon - 19th - Fly back in to Atlanta from Boston so I can teach on Tuesday - aren't I loyal? ;)
Thu - 29th - Make-up lab
Mon - 5th - NO CLASSES - Independence Day holiday
Fri - 9th - the movie "Anchorman" comes out (I was on the set of it last year)
Sat - 10th - Marie and Dean's wedding (in Mpls) -- tres fun! and very dance-y
Thu - 15th - Friend Andrew and I drive to Boston!!! (I've never seen the area) -- got to meander New York
Thu - 15th to Sun - 18th - "Cosmos in the Classroom" meeting in Boston area! Yay!! -- a truly awesome meeting!!!
Tue - 20th - 6 p.m. - Dinner for the newly-minted Ph.D.s that are leaving us - Fritti
Wed - 21st - 8:45 p.m. - Observing with my students -- clear, but super-hazy :( Went okay
Sat - 24th - HLCO Open House that I am manning
Thu - 29th and Fri - 30th - Uncle Robert's auction in Miami, MISSOURI
August
Sun - 1st - look at a bunch of prospective new places to live!
Wed - 11th - 1:30 p.m. - Meeting with Dick, JohnWilson and Kevin about lab coordinating
Sun - 15th to Sat - 21st - Fly to Tucson, AZ to go observing at Kitt Peak National Observatory!!!
Mon - 23rd - CLASSES BEGIN for Fall term
Mon - 2nd - Classes END for Summer Session
Fri - 6th - Must PAY damn student fees - up to $430.50 this semester...
Fri - 13th - after 6 - sign lease!
