Mon - 10th - Classes start!!!
Tue - 11th - 11:00 a.m. - Meeting for PRISM mini-grant recipients (that's me!)
                  - 5:30 p.m. - MY FIRST CLASS!!!
Thu - 13th - 1:30 p.m. - TA meeting
                  - 4:30 p.m. - Astronomy Club meeting
Fri - 14th - 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. - do Eclipses in Dr. Bagnuolo's classes -- went quite well :)

Mon - 17th - NO SCHOOL!! - MLK Jr Day
Solar Observing with Astro Club this week
Labs start this week (must make sure everything is ready!)
Tue - 18th - 9:30 a.m. - do Eclipses in Dr. Wiita's class
                  - 11:30 a.m. - did Solar Observing -- went fine
Wed - 19th - 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. - must get Eclipses back to Bagnuolo's students
                  - 2:00 p.m. - my first lab
Thu - 20th - 9:30 a.m. - must get Eclipses back to Wiita's students

Night-time observing this week (at the GSU Village!) - doing it Monday at 7:30 -- ooo, they had pipes burst so we had to stay on campus
Mon - 24th - 10 a.m. - make sure these students get to another lab!!
                  - 12:00 p.m. - my first Monday lab
                  - 4:30 p.m. - TA meeting
Tue - 25th - do "Phases" in my class
Thu - 27th - Seester Tyan's birthday!!
                  - do "Eclipses" in my class
Fri - 28th - 4:30 p.m. - AstroClub movie - it's 2001: A Space Odyssey - we'll see if I can sit through it... -- okay, I hate it. Dammit - I just wasted 3 hours of my life. But, cut out the first 20ish minutes and the last 20ish minutes and I'd be fine...
                  - 9ish - student's art gallery opening -- couldn't go cuz of a little ice storm...

February

Mon - 31st - Lab (12-2), CHARA meeting (2:30-?) -- got cancelled!, TA meeting (4:30-?), test to student teachers (5:30-?)
Tue - 1st - give the first TEST in my lecture
Thu - 3rd - 3:00 p.m. - Astronomy Club meeting

Solar Observing this week! -- did on Thursday - went pretty well :)
Thu - 9th - Opera?? -- nope, didn't end up going -- also car stealing day :(
Sat - 12th - Volunteer weekend at PARI - leaving ATL at 7 a.m., returning 11:45 p.m.

Nighttime observing this week! -- happened Monday
Tue - 15th - Got formerly stolen car back from impound - nothing was wrong with it!!
Fri - 18th - 3 p.m. - Telescope painting

Tue - 22nd - tentative Test 2 date -- good thing it was tentative! I had to move it to Thursday
Thu - 24th - Test 2 in lecture!!!
Fri - 25th - AstroClub Movie!! - wait, I'll be in Savannah...
Fri - 25th and Sat - 26th - PRISM conference in Savannah (I'm going!! Ellyn too. And Justin)

March

Sat - 5th - 8:10 a.m. - Flying to Seattle for Uncle Charles' funeral :(

Mon - 7th - return from Seattle
Sat - 12th - Amber's baby shower :)

Sun - 13th - Ginny arrives from Yale to stay with me through Tues night...

Tue - 15th - 9 a.m. - PRISM meeting - show stuff to the PRISM bigwigs and also some of the Regents -- went very well :)
Wed - 16th - 2 p.m. - PRISM meeting - meeting for mini-grant recipients - Angela has to cover my class :(
Thu - 17th - 8 p.m. - Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus performing Berlioz "The Damnation of Faust" - going with Ginny -- very good and very dark... Cool.
Sat - 19th - 8 p.m. - Atlanta Ballet performing "Swan Lake" (I've never seen it!) -- and I still haven't seen it :( Justin got violently ill...

Nighttime observing this week! -- totally cancelled cuz of cloudy weather :(
Tue - 22nd - 1 p.m. - substitute for Nilakshi's 1020 lecture! - GCB300 -- went just fine :)
Wed - 23rd - Abstract deadline for Minneapolis AAS meeting!! I'll be submitting two of them I think... -- which I did :)
Fri - 25th - 3 p.m. - AstroClub telescope building -- oops, helping a student so didn't go
Fri and Sat - cat-sit for Miss Angela
Sat - 26th - First HLCO Open House (I must make sure the slide show is ready!!)

Tue - 29th - Tentative Test #3 for my class! -- Moved to Thursday - doing a PRISM activity
Wed - 30th - 12:30 p.m. - meet with an evaluator from NSF for PRISM stuff
Thu - 31st - Test #3 for my class (I moved it so I could do one more thing)

April

Fri - 1st - 4 p.m. - AstroClub Movie!! (we watched "The Right Stuff" - long, but good :) )

Mon - 4th - 2 p.m. - Reception for the Teaching Award! (in the Student Center)
Thu - 7th - 3 p.m. - AstroClub meeting
Fri - 8th - 2 p.m. - Meeting for Science Olympiad
                  - Messier Marathon!! -- had to cancel due to clouds :(
Sat - 9th - AstroClub Messier Marathon!!! - oops! HLCO Open House is this night, we'll do it Friday

May

Mon - 2nd - Last Day of Classes!!!
Tue - 3rd - 5 p.m. - FINAL for my students!! -- went just fine :)
Wed - 4th - 10:30 p.m. - Went to see Deke Dickerson and the Ecco-Fonics -- super-cool band, but no dancers :( so depressing.
Sat - 7th - HLCO Open House -- beautiful night :)

Mon - 9th - my future teachers' portfolios are due!
                  - 6 p.m. - PRISM dinner -- was quite good :)
Wed - 11th - 11 a.m. - pick up Angela and kitty - Angela to airport, kitty to house
                  - 5 p.m. - 2 future teachers are presenting
Fri - 13th - 11 a.m. - 2 other future teachers are presenting
                  - 6 p.m. - Grades are DUE!!!

Thu - 19th - MY BIRTHDAY!! :) :)
