For Spring Semester 2006 - The middle of my FOURTH year!!
December
Mon - 19th - Leave for Minneapolis for Christmas and New Years! (return Jan. 4)
Thu - 22nd - 1:10 p.m. - Dentist appointment - my first filling in 20 years! -- missed it due to sickness :( (an LJ post about it)
January
Wed - 4th - return from the Midwest!! -- went dancing right away ;)
Mon - 9th - FIRST DAY OF CLASSES AT GSU (not that it matters for me - no classes!)
Stuff at the Rec Center (aerobics and classes) start!! -- had a great time, overdid it a little at first :)
Pop Wench this week!!
Sun - 29th - 4 p.m. - pick up old UofMN friend Laura from airport!! :)
Thu - 5th - 7:30 p.m. - go see preview of "Merchant of Venice" -- oops, it got sold out, so Angela and I went to TdS instead
Fri - 6th - 6ish - Thrashers game with other grad students!! -- awesome (LJ post)
Sat - 7th - first day of late registration (stupid me)
- 7 p.m. to whenever - b-day party for Glenn
- 9 p.m. - belly dancing show at the Red Light Cafe (LJ post)
Sun - 8th - hiking with the roomie and friends (LJ post)
- start taking care of Angela's kitty
- 2:30 p.m. - meet with Doug -- I have a timeline!! (LJ post)
- 7 p.m. - belly dancing class with Awalim -- dammit, I missed it cuz I couldn't find the studio :( Maybe next round...
- 8 p.m. - Team Trivia at TacoMac with Glenn's team -- Glenn not present, but everyone else was and WE WON!!! :)
Wed - 11th - 1 p.m. - meet with Doug (the start of the weekly meetings) -- oops, we're postponing til Thursday...
Thu - 12th - 10 a.m. - TA meeting (although I'm not TAing this semester) -- wait, YES I AM!!! Hunh...
- 11 a.m. - give some stuff to Todd's Planetary Sciences class (he's at the AAS)
Fri - 13th - 3:30 p.m. - pick up Angela from the airport -- oh god, took SO LONG to get home (parked on freeway for 1.5 hours)
- 8 p.m. - Georgia Tech Swing Dance!! (and I'll possibly be bringing 6 people!) -- had a great time, 2 of the 6 came, but then 2 unexpecteds came too :)
Sat - 14th - 8 p.m. - bowling at Express Lanes -- fun :)
Sun - 15th - must order annual pass for the GA Aquarium if I want it!! -- got it :)
Mon - 16th - NO SCHOOL - MLK Day
Tue - 17th - 1 p.m. - I start teaching lab... -- went quite well really
Wed - 18th - 1 p.m. - meet with Doug
Fri - 20th - Big City Burlesque again -- had good fun :)
Mon - 23rd - 10 and 12 - do Eclipses in Mike's classes -- went very well - I even had some students come up and say it was a good class :)
- first belly dancing class!! :)
Tue - 24th - 4 p.m. - colloquium (we have to really start going now because they're getting on our cases)
Fri - 27th - seester's birthday!!!
- see "The Merchant of Venice" at the Shakespeare Tavern -- it was really good :)
Mon - 30th - 8 p.m. - a ballet at the Fox -- very nice
February
Wed - 1st - 5:30 p.m. - proctor Dick's test -- dood, the first students were done in 8 minutes!!!
Nighttime observing this week -- tried on Tuesday but no one showed except Kevin and I :(
Tue - 14th - 3:30 p.m. - colloquium (a job talk by a lady!) -- it was fine.
Sun - 19th - EITHER Bellydance Superstars or the Asylum Street Spankers, which to choose... -- the Spankers!! Had a great time :)
Tue - 28th - started new weightlifting program - free weights!!
Thu - 2nd - 4 p.m. - Astronomy Club meeting (the first of the semester) -- went just fine
Fri - 3rd - Georgia Tech Swing Dance -- ended up going out booty shaking ;)
Sat - 4th - Blues at Blind Willies (and some dinner beforehand)
Thu - 9th - 3:30 p.m. - colloquium (a job talk!) -- actually not bad
- Taqueria del Sol with Angela
Fri - 17th - 3 p.m. - Telescope building -- heh, a bust, only I showed up
Sat and Sun - take care of Haley
Sat - 18th - 6:30 p.m. - Go to a suprise party at Dave and Busters -- that place was packed.
- go booty shaking with Todd?? -- moved to Friday :)
Tue - 21st - Willie Heath Neal at the Dixie Tavern! Cool
Thu - 23rd - Taqueria del Sol with Angela
Fri - 24th - 4 p.m. - AstroClub movie - "Cosmos" -- yoomans!!
- BR5-49 at the Variety Playhouse!! Yay!! -- wonderful fun!!
Sat - 25th - Science Olympiad (but I don't have to do anything for it!! :) )
- Messier Marathon -- oops, postponed due to rain
- Oakhurst Wine Crawl -- actually rather fun :)
- 2 parties I've been invited to... -- only went to one and had a great time :)
Sun - 26th - 3 p.m. - first softball practice -- went well, fun team, need cleats...
March
Thu - 2nd - 4 p.m. - AstroClub meeting
Mon - 6th to Fri - 10th - SPRING BREAK

Solar Observing Week -- happened Wednesday (but no one could do it!)
Tue - 28th - 11 a.m. - sub for Tabby
Fri - 3rd - too sick to go out this weekend :(
Sun - 5th - 1 p.m. - Softball practice!! (I have cleats now) -- heh, I got brownie points for that ;)
- 6ish - bowling!!!
