Keur Subsector: Keur Subsector has an estimated population in 1202 of approximately 810 million, a decline of 97.8 percent from its Pre-Collapse population. Its highest population is 600 million at Enid, and its highest tech level is 7 at Marcusen, Makinen and Uson.

The Keum Subsector (historical): Keum Subsector had an estimated population in 1117 of approximately 36 billion. Its highest population was 9 billion at Enrique, and its highest tech level was 16 at Ergo and Amaya.

Subsector Notes

Appoma (0116) was never quite important, but at least they've had an scoutbase. And that's I think why they've had the population of 800 people. As virus was striking, it take a comparatively small toll, just every second person. But one thing that is no problem for a bigger population showed up at this small group of survivers. They got a quit anoying genetical disease, which made the most of the women unfertile, and most of the newborn girlbabies never reached maturity. The result of this is a 3:1 ratio of men to women.

That's the reason why this groups started to use their two remaining scouts (jump 1 capable) to salvage TL 11 equipment at Juweit (115), and barter or steal women from Shigi (0214). Just in this way they're able to maintain their population. (And with 400 persons they aren't able to maintain a D starport, that's why they get an E).

Korthalis (0417) was like a twin to Appoma, before the Virus. But they got happy times as an God strain virus infected the main computer of the scoutbase. But at least it didn't kill everybody. The virus is located at the scoutbase situated at the moon of the main planet, and so it needs shuttles to control his servants. It look's quit carefully, that the high services of his believers are made carefully, which means that they hold the spaceport at least workable. It doesn't need a spaceport, cause the shuttles are quit beautiful, if you like antiquarity.

The TED at Kaflowe (0514) is one of this guys who treats his underlings good, not as good as his dogs, but who does ? Part of the population decline isn't connected to virus, but is part of a bigger plan of cleansing the universe from the betrayers. For this holy aim he killed just 50.000 people (one sixted of the pop.), and he is still working. That's also the reason, why he tries to buy or size a jump capable vessel, as to find all of them. The betrayers killed the emperor, released virus, and last but not least invented ketchup. You may ask who are this betrayers ? It's quit easy to find them, they aren't able to roll their tongue vertically. Try it yourself !

Marcusen (0616) is the main player in this subsector. It's not real a PE, but more like the family. Not to say that the aristocrats are evil. No, you can't really say this. They just used the fortunate moment, and toppled the rolers of Jonen and Uson, and putting members of their family at top.

So they managed to make everybody happy. The Jonean and Usonean get a new TED (backed by the King's Fleets, consisting of an old but luxurious Yacht(jump 1 cause most of this vessel is made from rope and tape) and a Free Trader), and the Marcusean get 300 times their own population. But after they lost an scout attempting to jump to Mannai Nila, they just try to stabilize their stronghold and have stopped exploring the surroundings.
