Hecate-Class System Defense Boat

A small 250dt, fast 3g TL12 SDB capable of slugging it out with a Shukugan SDB or Patrol Cruiser. The concept was fairly simple. Squeezing a capable ship into that small a frame was the difficult part, especially at TL12 but I think I've managed quite admirably. I present to you the Hecate SDB of the Confederation of Nightrim.

The second part of the concept was to make it an semi-dependent operator capable of travelling to other star systems without the use of a battle tender. This proved slighly more problematic, but again I think I've carried it off rather well with the creation of a Jump-pod. The idea is that this pod can simple attach itself to the exterior of the SDB, and jump it to a new system. The pod has a cargo hold capable of carrying 30 missiles and can refuel and operate as an independent starship.
