General Notes for Preparing for the Final Exam

The final exam will be on Monday December 15 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. It will take place in our usual classroom.

As stated in the syllabus; if your final exam grade is higher than your lowest grade from the first three tests, then that test grade will be dropped and your final exam grade will count for 35% of your total grade. If your final exam grade is not higher than any previous test grade, then your final exam grade counts for 20% of your final grade and no previous test grades will be dropped.

If you miss the final exam, then 20% of your total grade will be zero, so DO NOT MISS the Final Exam! See the syllabus for my policy on taking a make-up final.

There will be 100 questions. The vast majority will be multiple choice, there may be one or two true/false.

As with previous math and formula questions, you are expected to memorize the equations needed, but the values of constants (c, G, etc) will be provided for you.

In studying the questions from previous tests, make sure that you really understand each question and the material it covers. DO NOT simply memorize what answer goes with which question; this will not help you, as I will NOT be giving you the exact same test questions.

As with previous tests, I will be collecting the scantron, question sheet, and any scratch paper from you before you leave the exam. All three of these must have your name on them.

Please remember to complete your course evaluations on GoSolar.

I very much enjoyed teaching this course, I hope you enjoyed taking it. Have a Wonderful Holiday Season!
