Current Research
Working with Dr. Doug Gies on a binary system in the LMC. Attempting to fit orbital parameters via several different types of binary star modeling programs. The eventual goal of this research is to obtain more accurate masses for massive stars, and populate the upper main sequence on the H-R Diagram.
Working with Dr. Allen Shafter on the nova rate of the spiral galaxy M81.
Working with several students at Georgia State University to update/upgrade the instruments to science grade on Hard Labor Creek Observatory's 16" Meade telescope for various projects including blazar monitoring and neglected binary stars from the Washington Double Star Catalog, as well as public outreach.
