3D Image Technology, Inc. (3D Image Tech) ceased operations in Norcross, Georgia on March 31, 1999. Most of the equipment was moved to California where operations continued under 3D Imaging Systems, Inc. until 2002. The assets of the company have since then been taken over by VXL. Currently, the processing of 3D film has ceased, and the future direction of operations is unclear.
