| NEWS: 4/2013 Congratulations to Ryan Norris, who has be elected to serve as Graduate Student Representative to the College of Arts & Sciences Graduate Council for 2013-2014. Dr. Sebastian Lepine will join our Astronomy Program as an Associate Professor in July 2013! Congratulations to graduate student Sam Quinn, who has been awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship for his studies on planets in open clusters. The department is pleased to announce that Dr. Misty Bentz has been recognized by a National Science Foundation Career Award, and Dr. Todd Henry has been named a Distinguished University Professor by Georgia State University. |
