The Sharpest Eyes on the Sky:
Towards a Coherent Vision for High Angular Resolution Astronomy
University of Exeter, UK
April 25-29, 2022

The 2022 meeting will be held in the tradition of the past CHARA Science Meetings and VLTI Community Days, bringing both communities together. We will discuss the latest scientific results obtained with optical interferometry and other high angular-resolution imaging techniques (ALMA, SPHERE, etc.). There will be presentations on operations and infrastructure development activities at CHARA and VLTI. We will discuss the science opportunities provided by new, upcoming, and future instruments (MATISSE, MIRC-X/MYSTIC, SPICA, GRAVITY+, VLTI visitor instruments, etc.) and explore synergies between facilities.

Hybrid format: Participants can attend & deliver talks either in-person at the lecture theater or online via zoom. For the in-person participants, we have reserved a spacious lecture hall (435 seats) that will enable the participants to maintain some social distancing if required at the time of the meeting.

Please visit the website for The Sharpest Eyes on the Sky: Towards a Coherent Vision for High Angular Resolution Astronomy for more information, to register for the meeting, and to submit an abstract.  The deadline for submitting an abstract for a talk or poster is March 7, 2022.
